To get the best results with your Bio Sculpture system, it is very important to select the correct files for the planned service.
Bio Sculpture stock an extensive range of nail files (100-220-grit)
and their recommended usage is outlined below.

Nail Preparation
200/220-grit Bio Sculpture Butterfly Header File or
200/220-grit Bio Sculpture Banana Rainbow Files.
Soft buffing block (fine).

To prepare the natural nail, gently remove the shine around the cuticle, and then use your Buffing Block to remove the shine on top op the nail bed. This will ensure better adhesion of Bio Sculpture Gel.

Bio Sculpture Shiner
Start with a 160/180-grit Black Teardrop or Tacky Buff to thin down the gel surface 50% and finish off with a 200/220-grit Bio Sculpture Butterfly header file and then use a (fine) buffing block to ensure a smooth finish.

Shape nails with a firm flat 100/180-grit Gold File. If your gel application picked any dust particles use a shiner to remove it and to create a smooth surface.

Turn the tip upside down and roughen the inner surface (groove) with the tapered end of a 160/180 Black Teardrop File for better adhesion before gluing the tip onto the nail.
Use a (160/180-grit Gold File) firm file to file down the ridge caused by the newly applied tip.
Pull away the client's nail wall while filing down the sides of the tip with a (Thin Black Beauty) then use a 200-gritt buff to smooth down the ridge caused by the tip and to remove the shine on the tip.

Pedicure
Bio Sculpture Rainbow Foot File 100/180-grit.
200/220-grit Green & Black Buff.
Bio Sculpture Garnet File 100/180-grit.

Use a Rainbow Foot File to soften the skin around the heel. To shape toe nails use a 180-grit Garnet File that is firm and flat. Prepare the toenails with a 200/220-grit Green & Black File.
